Governor of the Capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Kh.Nyambaatar met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Mongolia Sébastien Surun. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the project to introduce cable car in the capital city’s public transport.

Within the framework of the project, the second line that is from Yarmag to Kharkhorin bus station is being introduced in the first phase. The 4.2 km long cable car transport with a capacity to carry 1,200-1,500 passengers every hour will start next year. The northern station of the cable car is planned to be in the 29th khoroo of Bayangol district, on the west side of "Kharkhorin" shopping center.
