As part of a tripartite cooperation between the government, the private sector, and professional organizations, the Satellite City and Special Economic Zone Development Agency has decided to begin designing and partial general planning work on the Naluu-Ukhaa project.

Within the framework of this work, B.Mendsaikhan, Head of the Satellite City and Special Economic Zone Development Agency, met with Mr. Yoon Tae Hoon, Director General of SATHY and other officials. The meeting was attended by A.Mungun, Head of the Satellite Development Division of the Agency, M.Chinbat, Head of the Special Economic Zone Development Division, O.Misheel, Senior Officer for Foreign Affairs, and SATHY Project Director Chanteau Pavin, Ts. Samdan, CEO of SATHY, and others.

B.Mendsaikhan, Head of the Agency, said, “The Government and the Capital City of Ulaanbaatar are paying particular attention to economic diversification and decentralization, citing the fact that Ulaanbaatar is congested. The state's and capital city's policies and directions will take the public's opinions into account”.

"We went to the project site in person and gathered a lot of data on the present situation. On the design and planning of the project, will collaborate with existing and underutilized infrastructure, production, and service groups. I am thrilled to be a part of this project's professional organization”, stated Mr. Yoon Tae Hoon, Director General of SATHY. He also stated that the Naluu-Ukhaa project will have a large number of green areas per inhabitant, and that he will collaborate with a well-known specialist on green urban design from Europe. He also stated that as industrial zones are built, precise calculations will be made to ensure that they are pollution-free and environmentally friendly.
