A regular meeting of the capital city authorities has been held on October 30 and led by the Governor of the Capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Kh.Nyambaatar. The Mayor gave 23 tasks in the previous meeting, and the implementation rate was 95 percent. For example, it was tasked to analyze the duplication of roles and functions of the local administrative organizations of the capital city. In this context, coordination between the strategic plans of the capital's implementing agencies, affiliated organizations and "Urban Development Index" was studied, and an analysis of the mandate of the organizations' strategic plans was developed. The working group met with more than 400 staffs of the more than 90 capital's local administrative and affiliated organizations and discussed the division of functions. According to the analysis on the duplication of functions, work productivity, and coordination of activities of the staffs of the local administrative and affiliated organizations of the capital city, out of the total approved positions of 17,682, 2,455 are currently unoccupied and 15,227 staffs are actively employed.

Moreover, it was ordered to terminate the contracts of enterprises that have failed to fulfill their obligation to maintain functioning street lights and have been in violation for a long time, and to sign contracts and cooperate with the other enterprises. In accordance with this, the Mayor’s Office of Ulaanbaatar monitored the lighting availability, and from eight enterprises and organizations, a "Transferring the use of lighting" notice was sent to the "Novel Network" LLC of Khan-Uul district, where the lighting availability was insufficient. Moreover, the capital city has accomplished 97 percent of its winter preparations, with 4,145 tons of salt and 2,759 tons of additional substances in reserve. In addition, 1359 tons of salt and 4499 tons of substances will be purchased and 846 staffs of 24 road cleaning organizations are working with 312 special equipment.
