The Governor’s Office of the Capital city, the Family, Child and Youth Development Department of the Capital city, and Health Department of the Capital city jointly organized the program to train 50 students of the I-VI courses of MNUMS as health volunteers and handed over the certificates.

During the handing over of certificates, Deputy Head of the Capital city's Youth Development Branch Council and Deputy Governor in charge of the Social Sector, Green Development, and Air and Environmental Pollution Z.Tumurtumuu said, "We are supporting the proposals put forward by the youths in order to increase their employment and participation in the development of the capital city. In this context, five universities have been selected this year, meeting with more than 800 students, creating part-time jobs for them, and organizing community-oriented activities. As a part of this, the Health Volunteer Training Program has been launched to reach out to disabled children and make the health care and services accessible to them. In addition to creating part-time jobs for students, the program has become a multi-faceted and effective way of preparing students for internships, studies, and social relations. Therefore, this work will be continued and supported further."

Within the framework of the program, in cooperation with family health centers of 28 khoroos of Bayanzurkh District, surveys of 1137 disabled children aged 0-16 years were combined, health care services were provided to 983 children from the capital city’s "Little Aspiration" children's rehabilitation center, and health education was provided to more than 2000 citizens.
