The Ministry of Culture, Ulaanbaatar city Tourism Department, and Mongolian Horseback Archers Association are jointly organizing the “Khiimori” International Open Horseback Archery Tournament /IOHAT/ and the International Horseback Archery Association (IHAA) World Championship in "Chinggis Khaanii Khuree" tourist complex on September 1-10. Specifically, on September 1-3, the "Khiimori" IOHAT, and on September 6-8, the World Championship will be held.

Since 2019, the "Khiimori” tournament has been organized with the aim of creating new tourism products, developing special interest tourism, and promoting Ulaanbaatar to foreign and domestic tourists through national customs and heritage. For this year, it is the first time that Mongolia is organizing the IHAA World Championship.

More than 80 athletes from 24 countries including China, South Korea, USA, France, Australia, Canada, Germany and Hungary will compete in the IHAA World Championship.

In this context:

• On September 1-3, the "Khiimori" IOHAT;

• On September 6-8, the "Khiimori" IHAA World Championship at "Chinggis Khaanii Khuree" tourist complex;

• On September 9, Horseback archery performance at Sukhbaatar Square will be held.
