A regular meeting of the capital city authorities was held on August 29. To increase the production and sales network of agricultural products and to provide citizens of the capital with fresh vegetables, it is planned to organize the expanded trade of vegetables "Altan namar 2023" in 31 locations of the capital. As of today, expanded trades of vegetables are launched in 23 locations. In these locations, more than 770 tons of vegetables were sold, amounting to MNT 2.4 billion. The Mayor ordered to intensify the work of organizing the expanded trade of vegetables in each district and to carry out regular cleaning.

At the end of the regular meeting, the Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar gave the following tasks:

• To intensify the investment and construction in preparation for the winter of 2023-2024;
• To ensure the normal operation of Ulaanbaatar's heat supply, to complete major and minor repairs of construction and pipelines on time, and to carry out quality recovery;
• To ensure refined coal’s quality and standards, operation of western and eastern factories, and labor safety, and to monitor regularly;
• To intensify monitoring on all stages of the food chain, including production of food products and the storage, transportation, sale, serving, import, export, packaging and labeling;
• To take measures to prevent soil pollution and enforce standards for landscaping, sanitary facilities, toilets, waste disposal and services outside of resorts and tourist camps;
• To intensify the crime prevention measures in the capital city;
• To increase the accessibility of public transport in the morning and evening, pay attention to the quality of service, and carry out regular cleaning services.
