Deputy Governor in charge of the Social Sector, Green Development, and Air and Environmental Pollution Z.Tumurtumuu met with the representatives of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region /IMAR/ of the People's Republic of China. At the meeting, views were exchanged on the possibility of further expansion and development of cooperation in the field of tourism.

Representatives of the IMAR arrived in Mongolia to participate in the "Ulaanbaatar Travel Expo-2023" international tourism exhibition, which starts today.

A meeting of member cities of the “Tea Road” international tourism association will be held during the three-day exhibition at the “Misheel Expo” center. At the same time, meetings will be held on the arrangement of car, motorcycle and children's trips on the route connecting Mongolia, Russia, and China, as well as the creation of new tourism brand products and exchange of views for cooperation.

In 2016, the first meeting of the tourism ministers of Mongolia, China, and Russia was held in Hohhot, China, as part of the development of the “Tea Road Tourism” brand across the three countries. At the meeting, “Tea Road” international tourism association was established, and the Ulaanbaatar city Tourism Department became the secretary of the association in Mongolia.
