Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar met with the President of T-money Co., Ltd Kim Tae-geuk. The sides exchanged views on improving the public transport payment system in the context of reducing traffic congestion in Ulaanbaatar. The company, which provides payment card services for public transport in major cities such as Seoul, South Korea, is cooperating with Ulaanbaatar in this field.

-Ulaanbaatar's public transport is being renovated in order to reduce traffic congestion. Measures will also be taken to increase taxi services in the capital city and bring them up to standard. In the first phase, it is planned to put 2,000 taxis with international standards into service. Due to this, as well as other developments taking place in the city, there is a need to improve the public transport payment system and introduce new solutions in this direction. Therefore, we can continue to work together to renew the payment card system and solve the infrastructure. In general, business relations perform an important role in state and city cooperation. This is the reason of the city of Ulaanbaatar supports it.

-I would like to express my gratitude to you for getting acquainted with T-money Co., Ltd as part of the official appointment. It has been a long time since our company cooperated with Ulaanbaatar public transport payment service "U Money". After successfully solving the standard and infrastructure problems faced at the beginning, we are providing smart card services for public transport. In the future, it is expected that cooperation between Seoul, Ulaanbaatar and the company will reach a new level.

In this direction, Capital City Public Transport Agency has established a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate with T-money Co., Ltd to introduce technologies and solutions.
