Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar met with the representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea. During the meeting, views were exchanged on the Ulaanbaatar city Public Library renovation project.
The representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Korea arrived in Mongolia to conduct the basic research of the Ulaanbaatar city Public Library renovation project within the framework of the project to establish a public library abroad. The Library and Culture Support Agency of the Republic of Korea has been selected as the project implementor.
The sides said that with the joint implementation of the project, the library services, personnel potential, buildings, equipment, and readership capacity of the capital Ulaanbaatar city Public Library will increase, and it will become an international standard library accessible to disabled people. In addition, the Mayor emphasized that the renovation of the library will not only create an environment for citizens to study and spend the leisure time properly, but also attract tourists. Therefore, he expressed that the project will be supported by the capital city in every way and the relevant organizations will work closely.
