A regular meeting of the capital city authorities was held on December 5. The mayor gave 11 tasks in 11 areas at the previous meeting, and the implementation rate was 83.6 percent.

5238 garages and fences demolished

As part of the work to ensure the right of the citizens of the capital city to live in a healthy and safe environment, demolishing unauthorized garages, fences, and fences have been intensively carried out in recent years. This year, 5238 garages and fences were demolished. 93 percent of the garage demolition work has been completed, or 81,396 square meters have been vacated. Additionally, 21,361 square meters of footpath, 27,704 square meters of road, and 18,866 square meters of greenery have been done. A total of 37 locations have been landscaped and 97 percent have been completed. Also, 17.7 km of fences were cleared in 354 locations.

Digital transition continues in every sector of the capital city

The Director of the Capital City Department of Digital Development and Information Technology Mr. O.Chinzorig introduced digital transition progress in Ulaanbaatar. "Digital transition continues in every sector of the capital city. RFID system installation work has been completed. "E-school" integrated educational platform has been introduced in 40 schools. More than 5,000 employees and 110,000 students in 40 schools, 66,000 parents downloaded the application, and 36 schools installed the platform" he highlighted.

The head of the Ulaanbaatar Education Department B.Amartuvshin said "There are 158 general education schools operating in the capital city. We set a goal to connect all schools to the digital system within two years. In this regard, four digital platforms are being implemented in the schools”.

At the end of the meeting, the Mayor instructed the local administrative bodies of the capital city not to celebrate the New Year with budget funds. The following duties and tasks were given:

· To ensure the operation of the engineering network, preventing unexpected damage, delays, and outages, scheduling and supervising emergency brigades and duty personnel, and preventing possible accidents and any risks.

· To pay particular attention to the creation of normal working conditions for the western and eastern coal plants of refined coal briquette, monitor the quality and standards of the coal, and take measures to provide households with refined coal briquette without interruption.

· To prevent possible dangers and accidents during work, create and supervise the safety of the environment with risks outside of the work area, and implement the requirements of labor safety and hygiene laws and standards.

· To ensure the peace of citizens in the territory of the capital city, exposure to crime and violations, expulsion and injury, to warn, to ensure safety, and to intensify inspection work.
