Supported by the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC), the Government of Mongolia, the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar, the Asia Foundation and civil society organizations jointly implemented the “Governance and Decentralization Programme” (GDP) in 2012-2022 on December 1. During the project’s closing event, the stakeholders shared the lessons learnt and discussed the issues of ensuring the sustainable results.
The GDP consists of three inter-linked projects, implemented together with relevant partner including Decentralization Policy Support project, implemented with the Cabinet Secretariat, the Urban governance Project implemented in Ulaanbaatar together with the Municipality of Ulaanbaatar and the Asia Foundation, the Civic Engagement project, which is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Internal Affairs and youth organizations.
