Regarding the progress of the report on whether the buildings affected by the explosion in the 26th khoroo of Bayanzurkh district can be used in the future, Head of the Standards and Inspection Department of the Capital city S.Tumurdulam:
-A total of eight types of inspections, samples and measurements were completed in the buildings. Apartment 207 sustained damage to its north and east sides, with the exterior foam facade on the front east side affected by the fire. The service area on the northeast side of apartment 830 was also affected by the fire. The windows of the apartments on the 1st-6th floors located in the northeast part of the third entrance of the building were broken due to the impact of the blast wave. A total of 85 apartments had damaged windows, with those on the 1st to 6th floors of the second and third entrances underwent complete replacement. Window glasses above the seventh floor have also been replaced.After the construction quality and safety assessment, samples and test results, the conclusive report of the building inspector will be issued. Professionals are working to make a conclusive report by March 15.
The Mayor ordered to minimize the damage caused by accidents, establish preventive measures to avoid their recurrence, and intensify the work of placing people into rental apartments.
