Spring floods at high probability

A regular meeting of the capital city authorities was held on February 5 and led by Governor of the Capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Kh.Nyambaatar. Last summer, there was a flood due to heavy rains that have not occured in the last 30 years. Therefore, there is a high probability of spring floods due to high rainfall. The Mayor assigned responsibilities to devise a risk management plan aimed at averting spring floods and mitigating associated damages. Additionally, directives were issued to conduct a comprehensive assessment of essential equipment requirements and promptly initiate procurement procedures.
