Former Cultural Envoy of Mongolia in the Republic of Korea Kim Koangsin awarded the Order of Polar Star

Governor of the Capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar presented the former Cultural Envoy of Mongolia in the Republic of Korea Kim Koangsin the Order of Polar Star by the decree of the President of Mongolia. During the award ceremony, the Governor emphasized that the state award is conferred upon foreigners for their contributions and honorable deeds to Mongolia.

In 1998, Ulaanbaatar and South Korea's Namyangju city established friendly relation and at the initiative of Koangsin, Namyangju Street was established from 13th khoroolol to the intersection of Narantuul International Trade Center. Moreover, he established the Mongolian Culture Town in Namyangju, South Korea more than 20 years ago, and operates the Mongolian Culture and Art Center in the town, and provides scholarships to Mongolian students from its rental income. The center where some Mongolians work aims to promote Mongolia and carry out cultural and artistic activities, and organize celebratory events such as the National Day Festival.

Kim Koangsin worked as the Honorary Consul of Mongolia in the Republic of Korea for five years and as the Cultural Envoy for eight years. Currently, he works as a senior consultant at "Senipang" JSC, South Korea. The company is cooperating with the Water and Sewer Administration and the Housing and Public Utilities Administration in the direction of cleaning the water supply network of Ulaanbaatar with advanced technology and ensuring the safety of drinking water.
