A regular meeting of the capital city authorities was held on August 29. In the previous meeting, the Mayor gave tasks in 10 areas. For example, it was assigned to study the work of increasing the two lanes of the city's four main avenues, Peace, Chinggis, Ard Ayush, and Chingeltei avenues to three. In this context, it has been estimated that a total of 195 units of land will be affected by the land vacation on the first line of four avenues.

Moreover, 564 officers worked in two shifts and organized movement within the framework of the order on some measures to be taken to reduce traffic congestion and load. On the first day of limiting the movement by even and odd number plates, traffic volume decreased by 31 percent.

In addition, due to the increase in public traffic, the task to intensify the repairing of road signs and markings and to monitor the implementation. In this context, 69 streets and 54,813 square meters of horizontal markings have been made out of planned 86 streets and 74,999 square meters in the six districts of the capital city.

A total of 658 projects and measures have been planned as part of preparation for winter, and 84.6 percent of them have been implemented. The Urban Landscaping Agency, district and private landscaping service companies planned to reserve a total of 6,057 tons of substances and 6,235 tons of salt as part of the preparations for the winter of 2023-2024. As of today, 1121 tons of substances and 3025 tons of salt are reserved.

Two hundred-ninety special purpose equipment of 25 road cleaning organizations are being repaired. In addition, 11 spraying equipment and six road sweepers were ordered from China.

The Mayor warned that as part of the preparations for winter, the planned major and routine repairs should be completed on time, machinery and equipment should be bought immediately, and salt and substances resource should be carefully prepared.
