After 27 years, Law on the Legal Status of the Capital City was approved, which created the conditions for the city to have its own standard. In the case of Ulaanbaatar city, a total of 15 groups of 52 city standards were discussed and approved by the Citizens’ Representative Khural. As the standards of the city increase in the future, a policy document that regulates the development of the standardization system in the city of Ulaanbaatar and the comprehensive relationship between the development and approval and implementation of the city standards is necessary. Therefore, within the framework of the legal framework, a draft procedure for the approval and implementation of City Standards has been developed with a total of 6 chapters, 21 articles, and 95 clauses.
Minutes were taken from the council meeting, and the draft procedure for the approval and implementation of City Standards was submitted to the Citizens' Representative Khural for discussion.
