Deputy Governor in charge of the Social Sector, Green Development, and Air and Environmental Pollution Z.Tumurtumuu met with the representatives led by Secretary-General of the North East Asia Regional Governments /NEAR/ Lim Byung-jin. The organization was established in 1996 and since 2017 has been cooperating with the city of Ulaanbaatar in the field of empowering government employees. In this context, Deputy Governor Z.Tumurtumuu expressed his gratitude for organizing events such as international trainings, conferences and seminars with Ulaanbaatar city and other cities in the Northeast Asia.

NEAR has memberships of states, provinces and cities of six countries in Northeast Asia. Currently, 81 administrative units from six countries, such as Mongolia, Russia, the Republic of Korea, the People’s Republic of China, and Japan, have joined the organization as members. In addition, it is working in partnership with five observer units and three international organizations (AER, R20, ICLEI).

At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed that the further relations and cooperation will be expanded.
