"Danshig Naadam-Khuree Tsam 2022" religious and cultural festival was held on August 6, 7 in Khui Doloon Khudag. "Danshig Naadam-Khuree Tsam" is being organized for the fifth year as a unique tourism product. Danshig Naadam is a unique festival of the Mongolian people, which was first organized in 1639. The worship of the great Mongolian divinity Ochirvaani, the worship of the Genghis Khan, a discussion and debate among the monks, and a competition of making balin oil craft were held.
In addition, one of the most special events of this festival is the Tsam dance. During the festival, monks of the Gandantegchinlen Monastery explained and promoted the symbols of Tsam dance’s animals and their clothings.
About 60 entrepreneurs displayed the handicrafts and national products at the exhibition of small and medium-sized enterprises of the capital city, which was organized during the "Danshig Naadam-Khuree Tsam 2022".
HERE IS THE IMPRESSION OF TOURISTS WHO PARTICIPATED IN "DANSHIG NAADAM-KHUREE TSAM 2022":
Marie Amelie and Roman, tourists from France:
-We are from France and visiting Mongolia for the first time. We came here because our guide recommended us to visit the "Danshig Naadam-Khuree Tsam". Compared to France, Mongolia has a very vast steppe. France does not have such a wide steppe. It seems like a place to relax and enjoy peace. We will see more beautiful places when our trip starts tomorrow. It is also nice to see herds of horses everywhere.
Brendon Beckman, a tourist from the United States:
-My wife is from Mongolia. This year, we came to Mongolia from America to visit our family. Since arriving, I have traveled around Ulaanbaatar and countryside of Mongolia. It is a really beautiful country. I found the Danshig Naadam really interesting. I used to watch Mongolian wrestling only on the Internet, and now it's nice to see it in real life. I'm happy to see wrestling and horse racing in real life instead of watching it on the internet.
Jere Rickman and Connie, tourists from the United States:
-The children riding fast horses seemed really cool. Archery was also interesting. We are coming to Mongolia for the first time, so everything seems amazing and interesting. But our journey is just beginning. We are going to see the lakes soon and go to Gobi. Also, we are planning to visit a rural herdsman's home for a few days and feeling really excited.
