Ulaanbaatar Road Development Department is planning to repair main and secondary roads in 14 locations of the capital city within 2022. These roads have not been repaired for about 15-20 years, resulting in cracks and potholes in the pavement, which have affected the infrastructure of some sections and disrupted normal operations.

Within the framework of the road maintenance, roads are being repaired with cement concrete and colored asphalt pavement, and horizontal markings and sidewalks are also being repaired. Maintenance work is completed in three locations and is underway in the following locations.

• S.Choimbol street or from the northern intersection of the 11th school to the intersection of Bumbugur
• Baruun Selbe Street, from the southeast intersection of the State Department Store to the northeast intersection of Teddy Center

Roads and sidewalk maintenance at three locations, from the southwest intersection of Khilchin Street or the University of Internal Affairs of Mongolia to the northwest road of Kharuul Altai Town, have been completed

Sidewalk repairs underway:

• From the intersection of Khuvisgalchdiin Street or Tasganii Ovoo to the intersection of Geser Temple
• N.Sodnom street or from the north road of the Business School of the National University of Mongolia to the intersection of Auto Plaza
• From J.Batmunkh Street or the road in front of Dashchoilin Monastery to the intersection of the 11th district

Locations, where the road is partially closed and paved:

• From University Street or the intersection of the National University of Mongolia to the Grocery Store 4.
• From the intersection of Nogoon Nuuriin Street or Khangai town to the intersection of 32iin Toirog

Locations where preparations are underway for maintenance:

• From J.Sambuu street or Geser temple to the intersection of the National University of Mongolia
• Denjiin road from Tsambagarav to 31st khoroo of Songinokhairkhan district
• From the west intersection of Amarsanaa Street or Max Mall to the Auhi Uilchilgee Intersection

Locations where tender announced:

• From Usnii Street or the northern intersection of the Circus to the Narnii Road
• Road maintenance is underway at a total of 10 locations, from Partizan Street to the intersection of 11th Secondary School.
