Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar held a meeting with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Vice President for Policy and Partnership Mark Bowman.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Mayor thanked the EBRD for providing funding, consulting, and technical assistance to Mongolia, and for supporting projects that made a valuable contribution to the development of Ulaanbaatar. He expressed his willingness to cooperate in the implementation of new projects and programs in the field of ger area redevelopment, improvement of road infrastructure, public transport, increasing eco-buses, and modernization of engineering infrastructure.

EBRD Vice President for Policy and Partnership Mark Bowman said that EBRD would continue to support the capital city in the joint implementation of new economic and social projects. He also noted that there are great opportunities for cooperation in investment, green cities, green housing projects, and public transport.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed their commitment to exploring opportunities for further cooperation.
