Ikh Uilsiin Ereld Group LLC has been implementing the “International Cultural Park” project on 35 hectares of land in Khan-Uul district as part of their social responsibility. The International Cultural Park was opened on May 14.
During the opening ceremony, Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar noted, “120 million trees will be planted in the capital city by 2030 as part of the “One Billion Trees” national movement. This year, companies and organizations are actively participating in tree planting. Therefore, the government should offer tax exemptions to organizations that are creating green space. We hope that the International Cultural Park will be a place that defines Green Ulaanbaatar.”
Consultant of the International Cultural Park Project Ts.Byambasuren said, “the International Cultural Park will turn into a cultural center in Ulaanbaatar. As urbanization increases, people need more green space”.
It was noted that one of the facing issues in the capital city is the lack of green space. Therefore, Ikh Uilsiin Ereld Group LLC has launched a social responsibility project to build a green area on its 35 hectares of land. The main feature of the park is that it incorporates innovative solutions, including gray water reuse and waste management. A four-season agro park will also be established in the park.
