Since its inception in 1997, the "Ten Thousand Camel Festival" has become a cornerstone of winter tourism in Mongolia, promoting not only the unique culture and sports associated with Bactrian camels but also the Gobi Desert as a prime travel destination.
This annual event, which highlights the significance of winter tourism and the preservation of traditional camel husbandry practices, celebrates our rich heritage.
In 2016, the festival made history by setting a Guinness World Record with 1,108 camels participating in a race.
The next festival will take place in Dalanzadgad between February 1 and 3, 2025.
