Governor of the Capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar Kh.Nyambaatar met with the Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia Alexander Alexandrovich Kozlov. During the meeting, views were exchanged on developing the Ulaanbaatar City Master Plan, and cooperation in the field of road transport and engineering supply.

The Mayor pointed out that in alignment with Mongolia's long-term development policy outlined in "Vision 2050", as well as the "New Revival Policy" developed by the government and other relevant documents, the capital city authorities are committed to prioritizing the development of Ulaanbaatar into a citizen-friendly, eco-friendly, and smart city.

Ulaanbaatar and Moscow established sister-city relations in 1957, and the Cooperation Program between the Governor’s Office of the Capital City and the Government of Moscow, Russia was updated in 2022.
