General Manager of Ulaanbaatar City and Head of the Office of the Governor of the Capital City M.Bayaraa met with Chief Representative of JICA Mongolia Office Tanaka Shinichi. The participants exchanged views on the projects implemented and the projects that can be implemented through cooperation, including the possibilities of cooperation in the field of public utility.

While briefing on the three sets of projects to be implemented to reduce traffic congestion in Ulaanbaatar, of which the feasibility studies are pending, General Manager of Ulaanbaatar City M. Bayaraa asked the support of JICA to intensify the project.

This year's summit of the G7, which will bring together the representatives of the world's leading economies, is going to be held in Japan. In this context, "Sapporo Climate and Environment Exhibition" will be held in Sapporo in April. JICA requested the participation of enterprises and organizations operating in Ulaanbaatar in the event.

Since climate change is becoming a global problem, General Manager of Ulaanbaatar City M.Bayaraa expressed the capital city’s willingness to actively participate in events aimed at reducing and mitigating the negative effects of climate change.
