1.5 METERS WIDE SIDEWALKS TO BE WIDENED UP TO 3-5 METERS
Ulaanbaatar Road Repair and Maintenance Department experts gave information about the road renovation work.
Head of maintenance and operation department B. Alagaa said that citizens are supporting the renovation. The sidewalks are designed to be wide and obstacles free.
Ulaanbaatar Road Repair and Maintenance Department engineer L. Tserendorj said, "In the 26th district of Bayanzurkh district, 3,400 square meters of sidewalks have been renovated out of 6,800 square meters. The sidewalks, which were about 1.5 meters wide are being renovated to 3-5 meters wide. Also, all entrances and exits of these sidewalks are wheelchair friendly.
